The following table was copied directly from http://www.stattools.net/tTest_Tab.php, created by Allan Chang, Ph.D.; all I did was change the style very slightly. I make no claim whatsoever for the hard work that went in to making Dr. Chang’s nice original table.
I copied this here from Dr. Chang’s site so I could tweak it to my preferred way to use it. It also ended up preserving Dr. Chang’s work now that his site no longer exists.
Anyway, the columns group critical t-values by probability of Type I error (α); the rows are degrees of freedoms (i.e., n – 1). Each cell contains the critical t-value for that particular combination of df and α.
